My Story!

Hi this is Shivakumar S B an innovative and task-driven professional with 2 years of corporate experience in creating and maintaining reports and dashboards. This helped me to understand how a company works and what are its Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Later, I consolidated the entire data and built a centralized repository.

Some of my hands-on work experiences are as below - Compile, analyse and visualise sales data for use by leadership teams. Capture and articulate complex data requirements to systems teams to support reporting automation and scalability. Tracking and measuring key financials, and business metrics and providing detailed reporting to business teams. Conducted scenario analysis to develop business plans for product enhancements or business initiatives and develop business plans for product enhancements or business initiatives, then presented findings to top management.

To enable data-driven business strategies, analyse trends in large and complex datasets. Identify unusual data sources which can be used for understanding customer behaviour & determine a way to capture it, and then use it to refine existing strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and to develop and complete end-to-end analysis.

With a recent Global Master’s Degree in Business Analytics from MSU, I have hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and Tableau. I did projects in Business Analytics and Data Science to gain field knowledge. Professional with a strong community and social service (Rotaract club) background with a PGDM(AIMA) in Marketing Management from Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies.

Besides career interests. I was a professional Badminton player who represented the state and university teams. I love cooking and love experimenting with foods.

Work Experience

• Jumbotail - Business Global Command Centre Executive. Created a database using SQL and other internal analytical tools to analyse stock levels across the organization's multiple clusters. FMCG and Staples facts and figures are reported on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Created Dashboards and Reports using Tableau to analyse data. Analysing retail alerts generated by internal data and resolving them to diminish the organization's loss percentage.
• Omega Healthcare - Accounts Receivable Associate. Responsible for managing the billing coding personnel and making day-to-day decisions; understanding and coding all procedures by regulatory mandates; aiding with insurance claim follow-up and appeals as needed. Used Advance Excel for financial accounting, budgeting, and Graphical and visual representation of reports. Also did Predictive analysis and forecasting for a project using MS Excel. This role is in charge of directing and organizing the billing and coding office's entire responsibilities to maximize cash flow while improving patient, physician, and other customer relations.
• ICS Consultancy Services - IT Recruiter- Internship. Source potential candidates on niche platforms like LinkedIn, Naukri, and Indeed. Write and post technical job descriptions. Managed end-to-end IT-Recruitment process. Hired active candidates from PAN India Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes. Perform pre-screening calls to analyse applicants’ abilities.
